The Observatory on Animal Law and Welfare provides an opportunity for in-depth study and updating in the research area now identified as animal law. It also responds to the social need to address recently emerged legal issues and issues in relation to which it is advisable to identify solutions and answers.
To this end, the Observatory is in constant contact with associations, companies, public and private entities operating in the field of animal welfare protection for studies and research.
The objectives of the Observatory on the Law and Welfare of Animals are the conduct of research activities, the assessment and preparation of targeted actions also with a view to raising awareness of the issues in the sector of animal welfare protection.
